Spread the word! IonLoop Pink Ribbon bracelets are our special way to acknowledge and contribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For every Pink Ribbon bracelet sold on our website, we will donate $1 to breast cancer research programs.
IonLoop is featuring Pink Ribbon bracelets this month in hopes of increasing donations to Breast Cancer Research. We are confident that getting more people to wear the Pink Ribbon bracelet reinforces the idea behind the Pink Ribbon which is to be a constant reminder to women of the importance of self-examination and prevention. We hope our Pink Ribbon bracelets will promote awareness, and generate even more donations for this cause.
The Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an international health campaign to increase awareness about the disease and to raise funds for research, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and the cure of breast cancer. Even though the month of October is featured by major breast cancer charities as the month of awareness, this initiative has been in place since IonLoop launched the Pink Ribbon bracelet earlier this year and the company plans on making this initiative a permanent part of the IonLoop product offering.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month was created in 1985 by the American Cancer Society in partnership with a pharmaceutical company to promote mammography as the most effective weapon in the fight against breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon was later introduced to the campaign in the fall of 1991, by the Susan G. Komen Foundation that handed out pink ribbons to participants in its New York City race for breast cancer survivors.
We’ve had this campaign in place since we added the Pink Ribbon bracelet to our collection but, given the importance of this month to breast cancer awareness, we made a decision to spread the word about this initiative as much as we could.
The IonLoop team feels honored to have the opportunity to contribute to this cause. Buy your Pink Ribbon bracelet today!
If you’re a follower of professional golf, you may have spotted Lexi Thompson sporting a wristband during the PGA tour. The wristband Lexi Thompson wears isn’t a secret. Pro golfers and athletes around the world are all known to rely on ionic wristbands during tournaments. Will it improve your game? We can’t say for sure but many professionals seem to think so! Scientific research into negative ions is still in preliminary stages but they do appear to have a biological effect on the human body. Buy your own today and let us know what you think!
